I have been in the cell phone business for over 20 years. As an employee for Metrophone, one of the original carriers in the country, I was involved in some of the earliest developments in the industry. Overseeing many programs through the years including customer retention and telemarketing I was an early developer of the indirect agent channel of distribution and negotiated the initial entry of many of the country's largest retailers into the wireless arena. I became general manager of a national retail chain's wireless division before starting Portable Communications Corporation in 1994.
The Phone Man Company was started as an advertising agency specializing in marketing cellular telephones, plans and accessories in 1996. As vice president of The Phone Man Company I oversee public relations and marketing initiatives for Portable Communications Corporation. The Phone Man brand was developed in 1995 and has been used in award winning marketing campaigns on television and radio. Portable Communications provides top quality name brand cellular phones, accessories and AT&T service plans and features.
